This was a batch of boxes I did for myself and my wife. The first box from the left in the top row has Spinach Tamagoyaki and shelled edamame. The second box has pieces of BBQ Pork Chop, freshly-picked snow peas, and arugula. The third box has fusili dressed with garlic-flavoured olive oil, topped with cherry tomatoes, boccocini, and basil. The fourth box has jasmine rice, topped with nori, green onion, and shichimi togarashi. I ended up taking the tamagoyaki and rice box; my wife took the pork and pasta box.
Each of us has a second box with dumplings; I put snow peas in mine, and cut-up strawberries in my wife’s.

Sorry for the radio silence all! I was unemployed for about 8 months, so I wasn’t worried about portable lunches at all.
The good news is, I’m working again! As well, I’m trying out an online course called Bento 101. If you’d like to join me on this adventure, check out http://justbento.com/handbook/bento-courses-2013
